Nuuk Airport (Nuuk Lufthavn)

Airport Code: GOH

Nuuk Airport (Nuuk Lufthavn) is a very small airport in southwestern Greenland (Grønland). The airport is located about 4 km northeast of Greenland's capital Nuuk (Godthåb). Denmark has close political ties with Greenland. This makes Denmark one of the few places in the world from which you can fly direct to Greenland. Nuuk's capital status makes it one of the desired travel destinations in Greenland.

The Nuuk airport is accessible from Copenhagen's Airport, Kastrup (Københavns Lufthavn, Kastrup). However, it is not a direct flight. A stop is needed in Reykjavik, Island. It is possible to fly direct from Copenhagen to Greenland to either Narsarsuaq Airport (Narsarsuaq Lufthavn) or Kangerlussuaq Airport (Kangerlussuaq Lufthavn).

Helicopters regularily travel to other regions from the airport.
